Did anyone attend a midnight release party for Breaking Dawn? I know I did- before I'd even read the series! A friend invited me and since I had so much fun at the Deathly Hallows book release, I figured this one would be just as great. It wasn't really, but it was still a thrill. They had a Cullen wedding cake!! It was amazing. It was three layers of red velvet cake and the icing was like a chessboard over all of the layers. It had red piping around the tops and bottoms and there was a prop relevant to the series on each platform- Hands with an apple on the first, a red and white flower on the second, and a white queen chess piece on the top. It was awesome. The pictures I took don't do it justice or I would post them.

I was working at a bookstore when it came out, and was helping co-workers do make up so they had the dark rings under their eyes and shockingly pale skin. One of our girls with hazel eyes looked so cute in it!
