Last night my husband and i were laying in bed talking it's roughly 1am and out of nowhere he starts talking about Edward and how obsessed I am and how he doesn't understand why I'm obsessed with Edward...lol Turns out my hubby is jealous of Twilight! He thinks I'm in love with Edward. That I wished I was Edward's Bella....I couldn't help but laugh at that. I couldn't get it through his head that I am in love with the story and the love between Edward and Bella, not Edward lol. He has NEVER been jealous before and all of a sudden he's jealous of a fictional character It's so cute and adorable to me. I just thought I would share.

maybe its not as cute to you all like it is to me but still.

Yeah, unfortunately Edward Cullen isn't real, so these girls who obsess over him, need a reality check. I love the story of Edward and Bella, I think it's really sweet, and I only hope that I can find a wonderful man one day who makes me feel so loved.

Edward isn't even that cool imo, he just shows off his restraint from sucking Bella's blood and gets all huffy and protective every now and then. All that other stuff like playing the piano would be picked up by any old schmo who becomes immortal.

Yeh, plus he sparkles which is totally gay. VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE!!!

LMAO!!! You guys are hillarious.. and yeap, I agree with you guys and you Wilda too.

Nothing special bout that Edward guy, I have a wonderful boyfriend who makes me feels special each and every single day... and the sparkling thing is pretty gay!

I'm not obsessed with Twilight, or the relationship between Edward and Bella. It's nice, I guess, but they both frustrate me in different parts of the book. And every time I start liking a character, they end up disappointing me in some way...

I never got the whole falling in-love-with-a-fictional-character thing. Like when I first I read AoGG, and everyone was like, OMG, I'm totally in love with Gilbert Blythe.
What's worse, I think, is when people make up all the private detail fan fictions. They change my whole perspective of the character, and then it just isn't so much more beautiful anymore

Same here! I don't see how people can fall in love with a fictional character. It's like, "Honey, he's not a real person, get over it. You'll be searching forever if you're looking for a man exactly like Edward Cullen." (Insert other characters names also where Edward Cullen is. XD)
