It does not matter how positive the enviroment is. Getting a forum active no matter what its theme is is very difficult, It does not mater how much you advertise, or how many more movies or books will come out, chances are this forum will fail. Why? Because most forums do fail. What exactly about this twilight forum will apeal to people over other ones? If all you have to go on is possitive atmosphere, well there are hundreds o others with possitive atmospheres.

I am not saying that I wish this site will fail. I hope it does well. However, there is nothing wrong with taking a realistic viewpoint.

Well...I mean we can continue arguing if it will have success or not...I say time will tell and we are all doing our best

I think that Wiki raises a valid point... (OMG did i really just say that)... But I think what will help the forum the most is being active and interesting... I have never really been one for forums myself, TBH, Until i came across HPF when i was bored one day.. I joined and I was interested by the topics being discussed and wanted to give my input on a few things.. then i of course came back to check what some of the responses were... I think that intrigue is what will draw people in.. yea there are probably a load of other twilight forums out there but if people join more than one (which i think they do) I think they will come by and check us out here... and from there it is just keeping members happy and active and not letting the forum die.... and i think that we can do that because of a couple of different reasons... first I think it helps to have the HPF people on here and active like we are now... that way we can help keep the activity up so that when people come back they are not seeing the same thing that they saw and will stick around and give there input on all the new stuff going on... and second because of the social contact... this is where i think people being active in the chat box will help out allot if there is someone there that they can talk to befriend... and once they have friends on the forum that will keep them coming back also...
