Needs members that are not just from HPF. Even if only 60% of its user base is from HPF, it will probably fail. That, or HPF will fail. People will not post at two places to talk to the same people forever. That is why Forteen forums failed. Hopefully google will bring some people in, but really, we need to work hard to bring in new members from outside sources if this place will stay afloat right now.

The books and the movie were pretty successful so Im sure Twiforums will be successful. It's just a matter of time and dedication to advertise the site.

There are four Twilight books: Twilight, New Moon, Eeclipse, and Breaking Dawn and I believe there may be a 5th book regarding Edward's perspective so Im sure 'TWILIGHT' will be around for a while.


Plus, young girls go wild for Robert Pattinson!

There are a million other twilight forums out there. Just because this is about twilight, does not meen it will succeed. It just needs a good solid userbase that does not entirely belong to HPF.

Have you seen the other Twilight sites? Not very good if you ask me. THis week is a week of Advertising.. So dont expect only HPP members here..

I do actually agree with Wiki, this will only survive if new members other than from HPF join so I hope the advertising does that ! There are a million twilight sites out there, so this really has to start pulling people in to keep active.

You guys are being silly. Just because there are lots of other Twiforums out there, doesn't mean this one won't accumulate members. Twilight is far from being over what with 3 more movies and the possibility of more books (not just Midnight Sun). People will be looking for Twilight forums for quite awhile yet.

Talking about this forum's failure before it's even started or straying from the topic of the boards is the only thing that will make this forum fail. You all have to remember that this is not your other forums. This is a brand new Twilight forum so you will be expected to adjust your attitudes accordingly.

I agree with Sam, in order for this site to succeed we need to create and maintain a positive atmosphere where new members will feel motivated and comfortable to come here and post their ideas and discuss different topics.

This site is not lame and is not boring, THIS SITE IS 4 DAYS OLD! ... Yes, at the moment the majority of members are from HP forums but that's because that's the only place where twiforums was advertised. Now that twiforums is finished and ready advertising will begin.

I believe this site will be successful and will be around for a while-- There are more books and more movies to come, many fans that will find this site and will enjoy it.


PLus, this site is AWESOME!
