Did you guys ever watch Dark Shadows? For those who've never seen it, it's an old soap opera about an orphaned girl named Victoria Winters who has been hired to work as a governess at the Collins' estate in Collinsport, Maine. Later she meets an almost 200 year old vampire named Barnabas Collins. It was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid.


I've heard rumors that Tim Burton is going to make a Dark Shadows movie in 2011, and that Johnny Depp is going to play as Barnabas Collins. Apparently they're going to start filming it some time this year (look it up on Google if you want).

Wow! I love Tim Burton! There is also a new movie coming out of his called 9...it looks really cool! I saw it on the Star Trek previews so it won't be for a while but it looks as good as Nightmare Before Christmas.

Agreed. Tim Burton's one of my favorite directors, I've watched almost all of his movies. I'll definitely go see his version of Dark Shadows if it comes out.

Tim Burton is awesome. I'd def be interested in checking Dark Shadows out if it's released.
