My friend's girlfriend, a female, me being a male, introduced me inadvertently to the series. She was so ecstatic about it, that I had to see what it was about. I then remembered my aunt had bought the book for me for Christmas a year prior to Haley's hyperness about Twilight. I was set.

My boyfriend's daughter came home one weekend excited about a movie she had just seen and told her dad she wanted him to download it for her.. that night we started watching Twilight but during the first 10 minutes i just fell asleep! LoL.. It was just too late for me, those two are night owls!

A few weeks later I finally watched it and Loved it!

no one really did unless you consider the movie lol I had never even heard of the books until I saw the movie and then started hearing about New Moon. When I went and bought New moon I saw that there was a chapter for the 3rd book and thats when I discovered there were 4 total.

A couple of people on another forum had mentioned it a fair few times, and one in particular kept saying I should read it! So, the movie came out and I went to see that... and I actually really enjoyed it. The music played a massive part in that though, and I've subsequently bought the score.

Anyway, one day I was out in town, and decided I'd finally buy Twilight and read it... A week or two later I bought the remaining three. Read New Moon in a day (something I've not done before), but calmed it down for the last two.

Still love the score the most out of the lot, but Breaking Dawn was my fave book, despite the ending >_>

My aunt. She loaned the books to me after she finished reading them. And I was interested in the movie at the time, which also got me into the series.

I worked in a summer camp in America last summer and everyone was reading the last book when it came out, so I went out and bought them all and got hooked!

I'd been getting drawn in by the cover since Twilight first came out. I kept thinking it looked like some Snow White story (I obsess over fairy tales), but kept going "oh, yeah, vampires" and putting it back.

But my sister bought them and loved them, and kept telling me to give them a chance. I kept putting them off, but then I got so sick I couldn't get out of bed and read Twilight through Eclipse in 3 days.
