So I know they covered pretty much all of the important things in the movie (in my opinion at least) but is there anything they didn't put in the movie that you would have liked to see?

I know I would have loved to see the part where they're driving to prom and Edward gets a phone call from Charlie. Edward answers and he says "You're kidding!" and then he's all "Hello Tyler, this is Edward Cullen" "I'm sorry if there's been some kind of miscommunication, but Bella is unavailable tonight." "To be perfectly honest, she'll be unavailable every night, as far as anyone besides myself is concerned. No offense. And I'm sorry about your evening."

Hahaha.. when I read that I was sad because I didn't remember seeing it in the movie, and it definitely would have been a cute amusing bit to throw into the movie.

So how about it.. anything you would have liked to see?

Haha no but they should have and along with that the part when Tyler actually asks Bella to the dance and then figures they are going to prom together....to make that call scene make sense. I guess they thought it was unimportant but it would have been nice for them to add it in for the humor of it. It would only add to the characterization of Edward, too.

I think that they should have had Carlisle's past in it! I mean they should have at least introduced people to the volturi! I hope that they have more of his past in new moon; like when he is talking to bella; that would be awesome. I may be a bit biased though he is my favourite character!

Lol oh yeah the part where Edward blocked Bella to give Tyler the chance to ask her to the dance hahah. That would have been fantastic.

I was also thinking of the Tyler phone call myself - it was amusing.

For me it was what they shouldn't have put in there. I didn't like all the extra stuff that wasn't in the book. Like the 'bad vampires' killing people that her dad was investigating - and the field trip that they went on, etc.

I hope New Moon stays closer to the book then Twilight did.

Yeah.. they stayed pretty close to the story, but instead of adding the random bits here and there, they should have added the funny bits from the book.

I agree with Gina, it would have been cool if they showed the part about Carlisle's past. Hopefully they'll put it in New Moon... it would be a shame if they just leave it out altogether.

Yeah because Carlisle's past with the Volturi is pretty key in New Moon and then again later in Breaking Dawn. I hope they don't mess up and leave it out altogether.

I finished reading twilight the other day and it was sooooo much different than the movie I guess cause they had to combine alot of the scenes in order to fit it all into 2 hours. I think the movie pretty much covered what I wanted in it but Carlisle's past would have been an opener for the volturi in New Moon and the whole Edward blocking Bella and Tyler stuff would have been funny. Makes me a bit nervous to see how the movie will be. Hopefully it's even better than Twilight!
